Xperios: minimum requirements
- Processor
- x64 (64-bit) compatible processor (Intel or AMD), minimum 1.8 GHz.
- Operating system
- Windows 10 (minimum version 1903, May 2019) or later, with the .NET 8 Desktop Runtime and the WebView2 runtime. Xperios is not supported on macOS.
- Network
- An active network connection is required on first start-up and to synchronise. Offline working is supported, read-only.
- Hard disk
- Minimum 5 GB. Customers with large databases should have at least 10 GB free.
- Memory
- Minimum 4 GB RAM; 8 GB recommended.
- Display
- Minimum recommended resolution 1400 × 900 pixels.
- Browser (for the online portals)
- A modern browser such as Chrome, Edge or Firefox. iPads need iPadOS 14 or later.
.NET Desktop Runtime and WebView2
Xperios relies on your Windows devices being up to date. The Xperios updater checks for the right .NET and WebView2 versions when it runs. All required runtimes are included in the official Xperios installer (MSI); to install them separately:
Allowing Xperios through a firewall
Xperios connects you to your data over the web (HTTPS, ports 80 and 443) with Microsoft standard TLS encryption. If your IT department restricts outbound traffic, ask them to allow the following (Paritor-owned) addresses, with read and write access unless noted. On a network without restrictions, such as at home, you don’t need to do anything.

Ensemble: minimum requirements

- x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) compatible processor (Intel or AMD), minimum 1.8 GHz.
- Operating system
- Windows 7 or later. Not supported on macOS.
- Network
- An active network connection is required on first start-up and to synchronise. Offline working is supported, read-only.
- Hard disk
- The software takes about 1 GB; databases vary in size. Minimum 5 GB free.
- Memory
- Minimum 2 GB RAM; 4 GB recommended.
- Display
- Minimum 1024 × 768 pixels.
Connecting Ensemble through your firewall
Ensemble is a desktop application that talks to our hosted services over standard secure web traffic. All connections are outbound only, over HTTPS (TCP port 443). No inbound access to your network is needed, and no other ports need to be opened.

If you have allowed Paritor before
Our service addresses changed in 2026. If Ensemble has stopped connecting, this is the most likely reason. These are no longer used and can be removed:

Using IP addresses instead of names
Wherever possible, allow the addresses by name rather than by IP address. Our services are hosted on Microsoft Azure, and the IP addresses behind them can change when services are moved, scaled or updated, not always with notice. A rule based on a name keeps working; a rule based on an IP address stops working without warning, and Ensemble simply fails to connect.
If your firewall cannot filter by name, the two service addresses above currently resolve to 51.105.74.160 (correct at 24 September 2026). Treat this as a temporary measure: it is shared Microsoft Azure infrastructure, so allowing it is broader than allowing our names, and it can change.
Proxy servers
If your organisation uses a proxy server, Ensemble needs the proxy details configured, and the proxy must allow the addresses above. If you are unsure whether a problem is the firewall or the proxy, contact us and we will help you narrow it down.
